The 23rd Annual Green Turtle Club Fishing Tournament will be held May 11-14, 2010.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants of the 22rd Annual Fishing Tournament. Thanks to our sponsors without whom the tournament would not have been possible.

They are The Billfish Foundation, Guy Harvey and his Ocean Watch Foundation, Grand Slam fishing tackle supplies, Bristol Cellars, Burns House, Tupps Fine Wines and Spirits, and both Kalik and Sands Beer Companies.

Winners as follows:

Overall Winner - Perseverance (Troy Purnell) Runner Up - Equity VIII ( Jesse Bollinger) Third Place - Wolverine (Adam Showell) Billfish Release Winner - Perseverance Non-billfish Winner - Dolphin 54.8 pounds - Eddie Bodie Tipsy Turtle Award - Omigosh (Donald Schmidt)

In addition over $600 was raised and given to the Abaco Cancer Society. All the participants of the tournament met at the Captain's Meeting and agreed in advance to make this an all release billfish tournament which it will remain from now on and we are all very proud of that and of the tournament participants for moving in that direction.
