Your Bahamas vacation and Bahamas dining experience is complete with your wine selection from our extensive wine list. The Green Turtle Club is proud to offer a choice selection of fine wines from around the globe. A well-rounded selection of fine red and white wines are offered, as well as sparkling wines. The Club's wine list was carefully selected by Rick Pairo, a native of Ocean City, Maryland and wine connoisseur. Careful thought has been given in choosing the wines on our list so that wine selections compliment our menu which features excellent World/Caribbean cuisine.

Chardonnay

Pouilly-Fuisse

Pouilly-Fuisse is the best white wine of the Macon region of France. This wine can be chardonnay at it's best. It goes well with egg dishes, fish and lobster.

Sauvignon Blanc

Another white wine grape that can scan many different flavor profiles according to where it was grown (climate) and how it was made (oak aging). The French identify the place name as label title. For example, Sancerre as opposed to the grape name, Sauvignon Blanc. The natural acidity from the grape makes these wines very versatile with a wide variety of foods from shellfish to salads.

Merlot

Merlot is the softest, fruitiest and easy drinking of the Bordeaux grapes, often berry and plum in flavors and rarely making very tannic wines. The soft, lush fruit of many Merlots makes them ideal for savory foods. Try it with beef.

Pinot Noir

Although difficult to grow, Pinot Noir has continued to find success away from its famous home in Burgundy. Pinots are well suited to complex meat dishes. The lighter styles go well with many fresh fish, particularly off the grill. It is also one of the best red wines with cheese.

Syrah
